• Sprinkle crushed eggshells over the soil of potted plants. Egg shells are full of minerals that are natural fertilizers.
• To remove a splinter, soak the area in hot water mixed with Epsom salts to soften skin. The splinter will slide out.
• Add ¼ cup Epsom salts to detergent the first time you wash new clothing to set dyes.
• To relieve muscle pain, add a handful of Epsom salts to your bathwater to draw out toxins that cause aches.
• Scratch remover for shoes. Apply a bit of white vinegar to a cloth and wipe on shoes. Then wipe again with a clean cloth. No more scratches!
• Great for bridal showers! Photocopy and laminate new recipes, then organize them in a pretty ox to make a fabulous bridal shower gift.
