• Put bars of soap in underwear drawer for fragrance. Open a few at a time and line up in the back of the drawer. Air firms up soap and makes it last longer in the shower.
• Wipe down your refrigerator and woodwork with straight Clorox to whiten. Use a cream polish to shine.
• Use baby bottlebrush to clean out fabric softener from receptacle in washing machine.
• Do you have mice? Pack spaces around pipes with coarse steel wool.
• A healthy snack to keep in the refrigerator is to grind up carrots and add applesauce and raisins.
• To sweeten carrots while cooking, add a little sugar.
• After painting a room, put a little leftover paint into a jar to use for touchups.
• When transplanting plants, put coffee filters in pot before adding dirt – water once a month using Miracle Gro and room temperature water.
